Sights: a very long, high hill that leads to the main part of the base, or to Kristy's apartment depending which way you are going. There is a golf course close to it and sometimes golf balls hit the street. Many people jog or walk up and down that hill every day. It goes right by the lake and that is a beautiful view.
If you get on the main road close to Kristy's tower (their apt. building) you can see the lake and the street is lined with cherry trees on both sides.
Weather: much like Tennessee, it is rainy, then sunny, then cool, then snowing, some days it is cloudy. You don't have to wait long before it changes. The hills and trees remind me so much of Tennessee. There are lots of water ways here too.
People: the little young children (out in the city) like to stare at white people. The kids are so cute! I don't know what they think of people with blonde hair and round eyes. We like to wave and smile at them to see if they will smile back.
Cars: there are the cutest and smallest cars and trucks here. Some are such pretty colors. Most are probably white or light colors. I want to pack one in my pocket and bring it home.
