A couple of years ago, Kristy was outside with a friend , Natalie, Kaitlyn and her friend. Kristy went inside to start dinner, Natalie stayed outside talking on her phone. Natalie came in a few minutes later to help with dinner. Kristy asked "Where are the girls?" Natalie said she thought they came in the house since they weren't outside. Bingo, they were missing. That fast!
They began to search around the neighborhood, calling and looking. Other neighbors began looking and after about 20 minutes, the police got involved. Everyone was really frantic. Katie and her friend were about 7 or 8 years old and no one knew where they were.
Finally about 45 minutes after they went missing, a policeman and his dog found them lost in the woods. Needless to say everyone was assuming they had been kidnapped and many people were praying they would be found. Hallelujah! They were found safe, scared but in good health.
What a scary time. It was a totally unreal, heart breaking time.
