God's Word

You have made known to me the path of life; and you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:11

Amazing March Madness

After a very scary week, we are all OK and praising God for His blessings. This week, Chase fell and it was bad. They took him to Northcrest Hospital, they did a cat scan and blood was coming out his ear. That is about the scariest thing I have heard since the day Kristy called and they couldn't find Kaitlyn. (Tell you about that later) I waited for a little while for them to call us back with good news. They called and instead of sending Chase home, Northcrest was sending him to Vanderbilt in an ambulance! I jumped in the car (Steve was home sick) and prayed, cried and drove to Nashville. Usually it takes about an hour to get there. [I think it took about 1/2 hour. I got there before the ambulance from Springfield. but i'm not telling anyone]

That was about 9 P.M. on Wednesday. They took all kind of tests at Vanderbilt. We thought once they got the test back, they would say, "he is ok", and release him. No. They wanted to keep him over night to monitor his condition. Then, we though, he'll get to go home on Thursday morning. No. The doctors wanted to do a MRI on him on Thursday evening. They did the MRI on Thursday evening and finally he got to go home. He is GOOD! Praise God. So many people were praying for him. (our church, Rachel & Dan's church, Jennifer & Richard's church, our friends in Paducah's church and no telling who else) and thankfully Chase is healthly and has no lasting problems. Thnak you to everyone who prayed and Thank you to God for answering.
